This is an ON-CALL opportunity
Description of Duties: The recreation therapist develops and employs therapeutic rehabilitation objectives for individual patients in our behavioral units. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, groups, some one-on-one sessions as needed, and program development. This role participates actively with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other staff in team meetings to develop treatment plans. This position supports a variety of behavioral settings including Adult Psychiatric, Adult Chemical Dependency, Adult psychiatric and chemical dependency partial/IOP programs. Experience with these populations is preferred. Bachelor's degree required (Bachelor's in Therapeutic Recreation preferred).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
