Description:
This is a full time, benefit earning position working with children, adolescents and their families with specific cultural needs within the home, office, and community settings. The Multicultural Case Manager works with families, natural, and professional supports to negotiate cultural differences, increase collaboration and reduce acculturation trauma. The Multicultural Case Manager partners with other community supports to reduce cultural barriers for immigrant and refugee families.
Duties:
The Multicultural Case Manager takes the initiative for assessing their caseload needs and actively facilitates and monitors referrals, treatment needs, and coordination of the supports and services working with the client and family. The work schedule is flexible to meet client needs and includes some afternoon and evening work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred. High School Diploma required. In lieu of Bachelor's degree must possess necessary linguistic and cultural experience in order to provide translation, interpretation, and cultural brokering.
