Be an essential member of the Patient Care Team! Our RN''s are responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the Emergency Department. Assess patients on admission and throughout stay. Involve patient and significant other in setting goals for the plan of care. Develop and periodically update an individualized, multi-disciplinary plan of care. Evaluate patient outcomes. Use age-specific knowledge to augment assessment data. Monitor patient for changes and prioritize treatments. Initiate multi-disciplinary discharge planning in collaboration with other healthcare team members on admission. Review discharge plans/ instructions with patient /family and document a discharge summary on the E.D. chart. Identify available resources and initiate referrals as appropriate. Maine State RN license required and 1-2 years of nursing experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
