1. Position
Summary:
Under the direction of the Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer, this position is accountable for performing financial reporting, planning, and analysis to support business and operation. This position will also participate in month-end and year end closing activities.
2. Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Sales and margin report and analysis
Cost, productivity, and manufacturing variance reporting and analysis
Budget/spending report and analysis
Prepare internal management reporting package
Support annual budget/planning process and quarterly forecast process
Month-end and year-end closing activities as directed
Ad hoc analysis as directed by Corporate Controller or CFO
Act as back-up to the Cost Accountant
Performs related duties as required
3. Key Issues and Decisions:
Strong analytical skills
Strong system and excel knowledge
4. Job Requirements:
The candidate should have a B.S degree along with 4-6 years progressive finance/accounting experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment with strong cost accounting experience is a definite asset.
