Job Details:
The Customer Service Representative is often the initial contact and first impression that many people have at St Mary''s Regional Medical Center. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for greeting families, visitors, and patients, managing both external and internal contact with customers. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for utilizing multiple computer systems in order to appropriately direct patients and customers to the appropriation location, along with the ability to multitask. The Customer Service Representative supports many departments while supporting the mission of St Mary''s Health System.
Duties for this position may also include:
-Utilization of computer systems such as Meditech, Allscripts, Lotus Notes, Microsoft products, etc. to provide accurate assistance to patients and visitors.
-Assistance in preparing forms and documentation provided to patients such as Patient Handbooks/Patient Representative cards, Admitting packet, etc.
-Completing assigned reports and appropriately distribution to the appropriate agency or department, as necessary.
Prior experience in a healthcare office or related field preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
