Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment and systems. Equipment serviced can include electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, boilers, pumps, condensers, generators, compressors, and medical equipment. Start up, regulate, shut down, or repair equipment. Manually operate equipment, make adjustments, and regularly check safety devices. Responsibility to ensure that all of these systems are operating not only correctly, but also efficiently and safely. Routine maintenance, such as replacing filters, lubricating moving parts, and checking systems.
Skill base should include some of the following: the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, parts diagram, and blueprints; minor welding, plumbing, electrical repairs, and carpentry skills to repair walls, roofs, windows, or ceilings. In this job the incumbent will work mostly independently, and occasionally will work as part of a crew on larger tasks. This is not a rotating shift position, however the incumbent will occasionally work off hours on shifts that can include holidays, nights, or weekends. Because a hospital never closes, there must always be maintenance workers on staff just as there are health care providers. Must possess knowledge of industry standards and basic codes.
Candidate must obtain the Boiler Operating Permit upon hire and within 9 months from hire commit to obtaining a Boiler Operator License (Organization will assist in job shadow, supporting books and tuition for the training cost)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
