The Nutrition Center Seasonal Support Worker will provide program support during the growing season when program load is heaviest. Seasonal Support Worker will work alongside experienced staff and help with program planning and delivery. Responsibilities include supporting production and community garden efforts; running children's garden-based education programs; helping manage volunteer groups; supporting youth gardener workdays and education sessions and providing help as needed to other programs such as the Food Pantry and Cooking Education classes. Previous experience with the experience with the program areas is necessary.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
