Repair, maintain, troubleshoot, or replace all electrical devices, wiring, or equipment in facility.
Job Description:
Equipment: Electric motors, generators, transformers, controllers, electronic devices, tube checker, ammeters, volt meters, continuity checkers, ohm meters, pyrometers, pipe cutting, bending and threading machines, electric drill, fuse pullers, bench grinder, vice, work tables, oscilloscope, soldering equipment.
Hand Tools: Rubber and leather gloves, wrenches, pliers, screwdriver, and hammer. All other tools are furnished by the operator.
Material & Supplies: Various wires, cables, conduits, connectors, boxes, switches, bearings, miscellaneous parts, tubes, tape, fuses.
Operations:
1. Maintenance, repair and installation of all plant wiring.
2. Maintenance, repair and installation of all motors and control devices.
3. Furnace repairs and installation and associated controls.
4. Maintenance, repair and installation of all general plant electrical problems.
5. Operator prepares piping and conduit work associated with electrical function.
6. Operator performs mechanical work associated with electrical jobs (threading, boring, drilling, etc.).
7.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
