The Computer Merchant is seeking an Oracle DBA for a long term assignment with one of our largest clients!
In summary, we are looking for an Oracle DBA with strong experience in a RAC environment. Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with RAC, RMAN, Oracle 10g and Oracle 11g.
Database Analyst III - Oracle
This individual will be working on an ongoing audit project that is covering (4) separate audits for TDUS. This audit is scheduled to go through 2014, so there is a possibility of an extension in this role. The focus of this role will be to align all database builds to be audit compliant. The ideal individual for this role is going to be extremely adaptable to change. They need to be very flexible since process changes happen often in this group and the manager needs someone that will not be resistant to this. This individual will be expected to perform the following functions in this role:
-Maintaining lower database environments.
-Migrating changes into production.
-Providing 3rd level database support.
-Assisting with performance running and server optimization.
-Patch databases, database builds, and change configuration.
4+ Oracle RAC experience (real application clusters).
4+ Oracle RMAN experience (recovery manager).
4+ yrs of prior experience w/ Oracle 10G and Oracle 11G.
2+ years experience with UNIX
2+ years experience with Scripting
Excellent communication skills.
4+ years of strong database analyst experience.
2+ years of financial/banking experience (preference will be given to those that have more recent experience).
Must be oriented to align database builds to be audit compliant.
Strong understanding of change control understanding.
Datawarehouse experience
PL/SQL Experience
Prior TD experience as a Database Analyst
Prior experience working on a audit project as a Database Analyst

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
