Local travelers will receive a $10/hr lower local rateMUST NOT BE A PREVIOUS EMPLOYEE OF STMARY'SThe ICU is a 11 bed adult inpatient mixed acuity unitRN will provide specialty care for critically ill patients and intermediate care unit (IMC) patientsThe RN is responsible for the nursing process from admission through transfer or dischargeSkills to include cardiac monitoring, mechanical ventilation, arterial lines, critical drips and moreThe ICU utilizes Advanced ICU (AICU) support for remote monitoring of critical care patients, in addition to Intensivist presence during day shiftA Shared Governance Model for decision makingBLS/ACLS certification required Staff must be trained and able to demonstrate competency in the application of restraints, implementation of seclusion, monitoring, assessment, and providing care for a patient in restraint or seclusionto ensure competency has been validated by the agency employing the staff Competent and must be willing to float to critical care 1 year minimum previous experience in critical care setting Additional candidates must be vaccinatedNO EXEMPTIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid StMary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contract Candidate must reside outside of a 50 mile radius Position Billing string = Medefis Guaranteed Hours:
