Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance team, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, including PLCs, motor controls, and electrical wiring.
Work closely with the production team to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Manage spare parts inventory and work with vendors to ensure availability of necessary parts and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to equipment safety and maintenance.
Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities and equipment status to senior management.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role.
Proven experience with PLCs, electrical wiring, motor control, and other industrial equipment.
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance programs and their implementation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
Proficient in the use of maintenance management systems and other computer applications.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to equipment safety and maintenance.
A degree or certification in a relevant field, such as Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, is highly desirable.
