We are looking for an energetic team player to join our new pediatric practice that is due to open in January 2015. We are very excited to offer this opportunity as we expect continual growth throughout the year.
The Medical Assistant functions as a critical member of the medical office team working toward the goals of the practice with a focus on providing optimum service to all patients. Partnering with a Physician or Nurse Practitioner, you will coordinate patient flow, obtain temperature, pulse, blood pressure, weight, and administer care to our pediatric patients as directed by their provider. You will be responsible for maintaining patient charts and other medical records, developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships with our pediatric patients and their family, keeping patient information confidential and respects patient's right to privacy.
The qualified candidate must have successfully completed a Medical Assistant program with an Associates Degree and be eligible for certification as a Medical Assistant. Two years experience in a physician's office setting is strongly preferred. Experience with phlebotomy and giving injections preferred, but not required and we are willing to train.
Position has a targeted start date of January 19thEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
