Job Details:
Duties for this full time position include patient registrations, demographics and charge entry from encounter forms.
Qualifications: Account Representatives in the Central Billing Office will have two years of proven work experience witin the medical field. An understanding of the accounts receivable cycle is of great importance. Experience and knowledge of Medical Terminology, CPT and ICD-9 coding is preferred, but not required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, as this position requires a high level of customer service in the handling and problem solving with peers and leadership. Must have the ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment. This is a high volume office, situated in a convenient location, providing medical billing for the medical practices under St. Marys Health System.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
