The Unit Secretary is an essential member of the Patient Care Team who facilitates an organized and smooth workflow by providing clerical support and indirect patient care services.
The qualified candidate will have at least six months of working experience in a medical setting and have working knowledge of medical terminology. Computer experience is a must. Duties include (but are not limited to) maintaining patients/resident records according to organizational policies. You will be expected to answer phones, perform typing functions, data entry, schedule patients/residents, maintain manuals/logs/bulletin boards.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
