We are looking for an energetic team player to work in our busy medical office. We have 10 providers who work at our location providing exceptional healthcare for our community. We are looking to add a positive and effecient person to our Women's Health team who values the importance of distinguished patient care.
Our Office Secretaries are often the first impression for our patients. They greet patients, field phone calls, verify patient demographic information, update insurances, and screens and directs walk-in patients. They are also responsible for directly supporting our providers by scheduling patient imaging, helping coordinate referrals, printing and mailing appointment reminder letters and adding information into the electronic medical record once reviewed by the provider. The Office Secretary performs general office duties such as sorting mail, maintaining a clean and safe waiting area, and may also be responsible for opening or closing duties depending on their shift. They must also be willing to train in other areas such as surgical scheduling, scheduling templates, scanning, etc.
Medical terminology or two to three years of previous experience in a medical secretary position is preferred. Must have the ability to work in multiple computer programs accurately and efficiently.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
